Sales

Outbound sales

Outbound sales is contacting businesses that have not asked to hear from you. It is the only acquisition channel whose volume you control directly, which is also why it is the easiest to do badly.

The mechanics are simple and the discipline is not. Pick a segment, build a list, send a sequence, book calls from the replies, repeat on a fixed cadence. Nothing about it is clever. Teams fail because they run it in bursts — a heavy week when pipeline looks thin, then nothing for a month — which produces exactly the feast-and-famine pattern they were trying to escape.

A weekly rhythm at low volume beats a quarterly blitz at high volume, by a wide margin. Small consistent sends keep the sending domain healthy, keep the feedback loop tight enough to learn from, and produce pipeline at a predictable rate.
